For the right of Catalonian people to self-determination!

World capitalist crisis, and in it the European economic Community's crisis, is shaking up the whole world state's system. We had already seen this with Scotland, where a nationalist secessionist movement grew due to Great Britain leaving the Euro zone. But Catalonia's case is more meaningful because it stakes the democratic right for the self-determination of all the peoples, but also it opens the gates for the falling of the 1978's Regime's institutions (agreed with the monarchy, the bigotry-conservatives of the Popular Party, the social-democrats and the Stalinist, against a multi-national Spain). If this happens so, it will led to the demise of the Spanish state as we know it.

However Catalonians (a nationalist movement that for more than a decade is on the lead and making look the Basque movement on an almost conservative stance) are not a poor folk, exploited by the Spanish state. Just as the Basque they are non of it. We are talking here on the most dynamic economy in Spain, whose bourgeoisie and middle class won't pay for the cost of Spain's crisis. Up to a point this situation resembles to that of Italy's north, with it's Liga Lombarda; back in the 90's they didn't want to pay for the poorest side of Italy: the farming south. But this comparison has limits, because Catalonia is areal nationality, unlike Italy's north.

However this won't change the fact that this is not a worker's or a poor's peoples demand, which are actually the quadrant that Will suffer the most from the separation of Spain this means the split-up from the EEC and the lost of trading with the Spanish State, at least for some time. Not to pay a tribute to Spanish State wont stop the crisis neither, a crisis that will be discharged on the workers and the poor people's shoulders. The same way will go on in the Spanish State, if it counts or not with Catalonian's economical resources.

All of this blends with the Spanish State repression witch wont allow the catalonian over their self-determination. This gives the more legitimacy to the nationalist catalonian demand and its bourgeoisie, going further from self-determination to complete independence.

October the 1st will see a plebiscite in Catalonia in order to decide its fate and the Spanish State is looking forward to stop it, whatever means necessary. A principled marxist stance is to take in consideration both sides, that are the situation of national oppression (always taking sides with the oppressed nation) and the working class interest. And since we are not nationalist (because nationalism always led to the interests of the bourgeisie) we take into account both the interests of the catalonian proletariat as well as the Spanish State-s proletariat.

● For the right to self-determination of catalonian people - Lets fight and defeat the Spanish States repression - Defense of civil rights! Against the labour reforms of 2010 and 2012, everyone ustcarry on to the October the 3rd Strike summoned by the Catalonian CGT!● Lets start workers committees all over Spain! We must build up self-defense committees to face police provocateurs and fascist gangs!

● No to Independence - Fight for the unity of the spanish proletariat in order to make this monarchic oppressive and exploitative regime fall apart. Fight for the building of a Revolutionary Workers Goverment and a free and voluntary Federation of workers and socialist republics in the whole Iberian Peninsula, which must fight also for a free and voluntary Federation of workers and socialist republics in Europe.

● We must fight to form a Internationalist, Socialist, Revolutionary, Workers Party in the entire Spanish State - with publications in all of their languages - in order to fight for proletarian revolution and worlwide socialism.

¡POR EL DERECHO A LA AUTODETERMINACIÓN DEL PUEBLO CATALÁN!

La crisis del capitalismo mundial, y en ese marco el de la Comunidad Económica Europea en particular, sacude el sistema de Estados mundial. Lo vimos en Escocia donde resurgió un movimiento nacionalista separatista a raíz del abandono de la zona Euro por parte de Gran Bretaña. Pero es el caso de Cataluña el más significativo porque allí no sólo está en juego el derecho democrático de autodeterminación de los pueblos, sino que también le abre la puerta a la caída de la transición, del Régimen de 1978 y sus instituciones (pactada por monárquicos, liberales-conservadores del PP, socialdemócratas y stalinistas, que no contemplaba una España plurinacional), y que conllevaría a la desaparición del Estado Español tal como lo conocemos.

Pero los catalanes, que es el nacionalismo que desde hace poco más de una década viene picando en punta y dejando en posición casi conservadora al nacionalismo vasco, no son precisamente un pueblo pobre y económicamente explotado por el Estado Español, no, al igual que los vascos, no son nada de eso. Se trata de la economía más dinámica de España, cuya burguesía y clases medias no quieren pagar los costos de una España en crisis. En cierto sentido la situación se parece a la del Norte de Italia, con su Liga Lombarda, que, en los años '90, no quería cargar con el costo del sur agrícola y más pobre de Italia. Pero sólo en cierto sentido, porque al mismo tiempo Cataluña es una nacionalidad real y no lo es el norte de Italia.

Sin embargo, esa situación no cambia el hecho de que no se trata de un reclamo obrero ni del pueblo pobre, que son estos los sectores que más van a sufrir la separación porque eso conlleva automáticamente la salida de la CEE y la pérdida del comercio, al menos por un tiempo, con el resto del Estado Español. Y dejar de pagar tributo al Estado Español no va a compensar la crisis, que, por supuesto, la descargaran sobre los trabajadores y el pueblo pobre, de igual forma en Estado Español que ya no contaría con los recursos económicos catalanes.

Todo esto se combina con la actitud opresiva y represiva del Estado Español (de la monarquía, el gobierno de Rajoy, con el apoyo socialdemócrata) que no les permite decidir a los catalanes sobre su autodeterminación. Lo que da una situación de mayor legitimidad al reclamo nacionalista catalán, de la burguesía y las clases medias, que va más allá de la autodeterminación planteado directamente la independencia.

Este 1 de octubre se convoca a un plebiscito en Catalunya por su autodeterminación, y el Estado Español está buscando, por todos los medios, que no se pueda realizar. Una posición marxista principista debe tomar los dos aspectos, la situación de opresión nacional poniéndonos siempre del lado de la nación oprimida, y al mismo tiempo los intereses de la clase obrera. Y, como no somos nacionalistas -porque el nacionalismo siempre conlleva los intereses de la burguesía-, también hay que tener en cuenta, junto a los intereses del proletariado catalán, los intereses del proletariado del Estado Español.

● Por el derecho a la autodeterminación del pueblo catalán - Enfrentemos y derrotemos la represión del Estado Español - En defensa de los derechos civiles y contra las reformas laborales del 2010 y 2012, todos a la huelga general del 3 de octubre convocada por la CGT de Catalunya.

● Formemos Comités Obreros en todo el Estado Español, y Comités de autodefensa contra los provocadores policiales y las bandas fascistas españolistas.

● No a la independencia - Por la unidad del proletariado del Estado Español para tirar abajo ese régimen monárquico/democrático-burgués explotador y opresivo, e instaurar un Gobierno Revolucionario de los Trabajadores, y una Federación, libre y voluntaria, de Repúblicas Obreras y Socialistas en toda la Península Ibéricas. En el marco de la lucha por una Federación -libre y voluntaria- de Republicas Obreras de Europa.

● Por la construcción de un Partido Obrero, Socialista, Revolucionario e Internacionalista en todo el Estado Español -con publicación en todos sus idiomas-, para la lucha por la revolución proletaria y el socialismo mundial.
